Discord roles

Agencies can come from roles in your community’s Discord server, on top of ACE and jobs.

Connect a bot

1. Create an application at discord.com/developers/applications, add a Bot, and copy its token.
2. Invite the bot to your Discord server. It needs no permissions and no privileged intents; it only has to be a member.
3. In the web app, as the owner, open System → Settings → Discord roles and enter the bot token and your server ID (right-click the server in Discord with Developer Mode on → Copy Server ID).

The token stays on your radio system; the web app never shows it again.

Map roles to agencies

On the Agencies page, pick one or more Discord roles for each agency. When a radio connects, the radio system looks up the player’s roles and adds the matching agencies. It checks connected radios again every few minutes, so a role change reaches the radio within about five minutes.

Requirements and limits

• The player’s Discord ID comes from FiveM, which knows it when Discord is running on the player’s PC. Players without it, or who aren’t in your Discord server, get only their ACE and job agencies.
• If Discord can’t be reached, radios still connect, keeping the roles last seen.
