System key

Your game server proves it belongs to your radio system with the secret in meridian_secret. It also signs every player’s radio sign-in, so anyone who has it could connect their own game server to your radio system.

Viewing it

As the owner, open System → Settings → Game server connection and press Show server.cfg lines. Each viewing is recorded in the audit log.

If it leaks

Press Issue a new key on the same card. Within about a minute your radio system restarts with the new key and the card says so. Then:

1. Show the new server.cfg lines and replace the old ones.
2. Restart the meridian resource (or the server).

Until you do, radios on your game server can’t connect: the old key stops working as soon as the new one is ready. The web app and consoles reconnect by themselves. You can issue a new key once every five minutes.
